Hello~Today Im reviewing for you all something I got at a recent convention! I grew up watching Sailor Moon so its something I hold dear to my heart. I was also lucky enough to get the 5 faces version, cuz it seems others only come with three...?
It took me a while to get the courage to open her box but today I finally did! And heres what have to show you ~☾☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ
The packaging was exceptional, not only is the box pretty but all her bits and pieces were snug and safe : )
I absolutely LOVE her expressions! There so true to the anime I watched as a kid with her melodramatic big tears and sparkling eyes (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡
Her stand is super cute and heart shaped and her wands have a fair amount of detail for there size!
Luna also stands fairly well and her tail and head are pose-able! (✦థ ｪ థ)9 yay!
There is however some imperfections that I found while looking at her...
I really expected alot from Bandai regarding this figure, since so many people follow the Sailor Moon franchise and it just so popular these days. But the paint job on quite a few places was rather disappointing considering she cost some people upwards of $100 for pre-order, I however am glad I got her at a lower price. There also seems to be some extra plastic bits on her uniform (above bottom left) and her bangs as well..some paint is also scratched off here.
Overall I'd rate this figure a
3.5/5, and that's me being a bias since I love the franchise. Perhaps I just got unlucky and got a figure with some imperfections? I hope that's the case, especially for the people who actually payed retail for her > . < I also checked her authenticity just to make sure. Still though, I'm pretty happy with her and am glad to have her in my collection : )
